2012 Archives – Your Preparation Station
Hands down my #1 pick for all the 2012 shows… not simply because the guest and I are ‘related’ because of our Risen Messiah, but because of the revelations from Scripture that he shares that speak to how God has ordered things for our blessing and provision…this show exemplifies the lifestyle of Preparedness in Peace! We had a great time of fellowship!

Scott was the host and focus of the Discovery Channel Show “Doomsday Bunkers” which aired earlier this year. There are many things on the horizon for the folks at Deep Earth Bunker and we get the inside scoop of what the show was originally called, a bit on the new episodes and how they will be aired. I couldn’t leave off 2012 without mentioning this interview as one of my favorites of the year. I had a great visit with Jason when we aired this show and have several opportunities since this to be involved with Frontier Christian University again. Shortly after this interview and with much prayer, I was honored with a position as an Adjunct Instructor at FCU.

Frontier Christian University is the first school in the United States to offer degree programs in wilderness ministry that includes courses in survival, preparedness, and self-defense as applied to ministry.
Jason Hunt is the President of the school that has locations in Southern Indiana and Northern Florida. Jason holds a doctorate degree in theology is an author, firearms and wilderness survival instructor and serves as a Firefighter/EMT in addition to being a noted self-defense expert having been inducted into the U.S. Martial Arts Hall of Fame. His most recent published book is called “The Tribulation Survival Guide” which equips people with the Biblical basis for survival and preparedness skills and concepts.

Turtle Island Preserve is in danger! Recently, local county government authorities have targeted Turtle Island Preserve, attacking their way of life, and forcing our educational camp to close to visitors. Much time and money has been spent to target this 501c3 and tonight we want to get the word out and rally the troupes!

Our topic will be “What to expect as a collapse occurs.”
Discussion from differing perspectives: The Argentine economic collapse model, the Soviet political/economic collapse model, the Bosnian ethnic model and (if we have time) the environmental collapse model (disasters, pandemics, and climate change, etc). We will end by discussing successful strategies based on becoming self-reliant and community based planning.
Andrew Ferguson is a lecturer of sociology at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, teaching criminology, deviant behaviors, social problems and homeland security/disaster studies. He also teaches history courses, including world civilizations and terrorism. Outside of academia, Mr. Ferguson consults on issues of disaster management and mitigation, high risk counter-terrorism tactics, and post conflict reconstruction. His clients include civilians, businesses, federal, state, local and foreign governments. He also operates Tactical Diversions for scenario training events.
